How Can I Reduce My Carbon Footprint in Time for 2030?

By 2030, the UK is set to have reduced its carbon emissions by 43% from 2005 levels, on the way to net zero by 2050. This is now less than 6 years away and there is still a long way to go before we reach our 2030 target. To help people reduce their emissions in the background of their everyday lives, we have climate-positive Broadband and Mobile offerings.

Each month our broadband and mobile customers can each reduce the digital carbon footprint of their service by approximately 4x their usage. This is made possible by Ecologi's carbon reduction projects which Your Co-op fund on behalf of customers, amounting to 10kg per mobile or broadband service.

In addition to the monthly carbon reductions, Ecologi also plant trees for our customers too, 12 per year for broadband and 6 for mobile. This means that once the trees are matured, they will be contributing to decarbonisation, further accelerating our journey to net zero.
